Occasionally in life you find yourself up against some darkness that peers from long behind a hidden veil. You take it as your moment to show off your shining armor and take a leap into glorious battle only to find that there is no way you can win. It is because the battle is not yours, or more importantly it is not yours alone.
The Void was something that Robert Reynolds/The Sentry carried with him. His very own demon, yet ultimately the defeat of this demon could never be left up to The Sentry, because how does one defeat their ever growing darkness?
I have been trying to fight a battle that is not my own. A fruitless task with much disappointment.
